AIRIS is open on all sides making it ideal for extremely large and claustrophobic patients. AIRIS features the strongest MR imaging magnet of its kind available, so you are also assured of high resolution images for greater diagnostic potential.
At Open MRI of Valdosta, we strive to accommodate the patient in the most comfortable, stress free environment possible. You will be greeted with a friendly face and the procedure will be thoroughly explained to you. You may listen to the radio or even bring your favorite CD to hear during your exam. One person, after being screened to enter the MRI room, is also allowed to sit with you during your procedure.
